On having the mind of a dog

My mind is like the mind of a dog. it’s wild and energetic and wonders off to a new, totally random thing every 5 seconds. I’m that kind of person that has to be doing something creative, fun and most important, challenging in order to keep my mind from wandering off.

Routine is the worse enemy of a mind like this and focusing is an incredibly difficult task but not impossible. The main reason why I train martial arts is to help my mind find peace, discipline and focus; badassery comes second.

Here’s the most recent example of how dog mind works. I went to a Bon Jovi concert with the current wife, she’s a big fan! I knew it was a bad idea for me because GLAM rock is definitely not my kind of music so this scenario is perfect for a dog mind.

Luckily for me, the concert was on the longest day of the year and the weather was gorgeous! Wembley Stadium becomes fascinating at sunset. The light hits the top part of the stadium and leaks in creating very interesting patterns of light and shadow.

I spent a good part of the concert keeping the dog mind busy while taking pictures. Once the light was gone, the dog mind got interested in the stage production and the lighting of the gig. Not a bad day to take the dog mind out for a walk.

Pics were taken on my phone and retouched on Photoshop Express.
